The Kinetic Group was founded in 2000 by Jeremy Dockter, who has spent the majority of his career advising clients in a wide range of industries. Throughout his career, he has specialized in investment banking, strategic consulting, executive management, business planning and market research. Mr. Dockter's investment banking work has included private placements, mergers & acquisitions (M&A), corporate divestitures and buyouts.
Mr. Dockter's clients have ranged from Fortune 500 multi-nationals to start-up and early stage ventures. He has served domestic clients located in the U.S. as well as international clients located in other countries around the world. Mr. Dockter has particular expertise in the business-to-business sector of the economy, which accounts for approximately half of his work over the years. Many of these clients have been technology-based companies. The remainder of his work has focused primarily on the business-to-consumer sector, as well as occasional work in the not-for-profit sector.
In addition to his advisory work, Mr. Dockter has also served in executive and management roles within corporations and professional services firms. These have included positions as the CEO of an enterprise software company, the head of strategic planning and corporate development for a U.S. based specialty chemicals company, and as an engagement manager and senior consultant for a worldwide consulting and research firm that boasts a clientele of more than two-thirds of the Fortune 500 list.
Mr. Dockter holds an MBA degree in Strategic Management from Columbia University in New York, which consistently ranks as one of the world's top 10 business schools.
